Just picked up a iMac with Lion pre installed, and is wondering what is the best soft to remove clutter unused language from application? or can it be done manually one by one?

To be perfectly honest that is probably best left alone. Because even base systems come with such large HD's removing unwanted items isn't necessary any longer. You may recover a couple of GB which isn't that much any longer however at the risk of removing necessary components too. I would recommend just leaving it alone and begin enjoying the machine.
