Hi,

I haven't been able to find a benchmark for how fast an internal SATA SSD performs in a 2013 21.5 iMac (to judge whether it is worthwhile vs using an external USB drive).

Looking at posts on Userbenchmark.com, they seem slow, such as: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/13024787

Does anyone have a Crystalmark Score available?

Thank you

I have a 2013 27'' iMac (in storage) with a "OWC" 1 terabyte Mercury Electra 6G SSD (SATA III).
I wrote down the speeds when I used the Black Magic Disk Speed Test from the Mac App Store.

7200 RPM HD Read = 204 MB/s
7200 RPM HD Write = 176 MB/s

SSD Read = 525 MB/s
SSD Write = 449 MB/s

Thank you. When I looked at userbenchmark.com at Apple systems that had internal drives, the speeds seemed slow - I assume different speed benchmark for the drive.
