So for the longest time I've had this issue that I just haven't been able to figure out. It stared back on OS X 10.9. If I have any apps in the iTunes store to download the computer will start to download them and then I lose my network connection. It gets through maybe one or two apps (iOS apps) an then just hangs. Stops downloading, I can't use the browser - The fix is to turn off Wi-Fi and then turn it back on. This started back on 10.9, I've since upgraded to 10.10 - all of the latest versions and that didn't resolve it, and over the weekend I jumped on the public beta of 10.11 hoping it would resolve it but it hasn't.

I've tried all the fixes I could find online relating to the various Wifi problems but none seem to work. I notice it when doing iTunes updates mainly because thats all I download but I don't think its specifically related to iTunes. I've never had it lock up while just surfing the net. I have streamed some security cameras through my Mac and that doesn't cause it to lock up). With it occurring over 3 different OS'es I'm starting to think its not a software issue. Could it be a bad network card? (Unfortunately my iMac isn't anywhere near my router so hard wiring it would be a pain).

The Mac is out of warranty so Apple support isn't gong to be much assistance. I guess I'm just looking to see if anyone else has experienced this.. I'd be ready to upgrade if there were newer 21.5s but since its been a while I may as well wait out for the next upgrade, but I'd still like to get this one working properly.

Thanks!
