Imac 21.5 or mini

both the new iMacs and Minis are looking sweet. Which is a better buy?

im really liking the price of the mini and the fact that i can use dual monitors but the iMac is so beautiful.

As far as performance which would be better with photoshop, final cut, etc?

Even the high-end Mac Mini can't touch the iMac.

You can attach a second monitor to an iMac. Plus, the iMac is a much stronger machine.

if you get the imac, get the one with the graphics card. The base model of the imac just has the integrated graphics identical to the mac mini - so there won't be too much of a performance increase. You do get a nice screen with the imac, if you dont have an LCD already.

Purchase the iMac if you plan on using Final Cut; Apple did not design the Macmini to run Final Cut.

The iMac is clearly the superior machine. Unless finances are really tight, I don't see any reason to get the mac mini over the iMac.
