iMac 21.5" screen - IPS?

I about to upgrade my 2009 iMac.

I would like to get a screen larger than 21.5" but the price jump to a 27" is too much for my budget.

Ive been considering the Mac Mini as an alternative. When evaluating screen options I understand that the less expensive screens are TN and the more expensive are IPS. There are also levels within IPS...E, P, etc.

I was wondering what type of screen is used in the new iMac's and does anyone know what was used in my Late 2009 21.5"?
