iMac 21.5" yellow screen Want to upgrade

Hello I have a 21.5" iMac with the yellow tinge. Apple said they would do one screen replacement and if that does not fix the problem too bad.

What is the chance that apple would let be pay the difference and upgrade to a 27" iMac? Has anyone done this?
