imac 21.5inch problem not sure what please help!

Every time I play a game after awhile the screen either starts to flick black or my imac will just freeze. Im not sure if this is normal but in istat all my temps go up the highest is my gpu it goes above 70.

Definitely overheating then.. How old is the machine? I assume you've run all updates including any firmware updates?

You could try following a few guides on opening up the iMac and blowing it out with some compressed air..

Make sure you have the machine in a cool, well ventilated area.
