CANADA? eh?
So, i havea 4gig hard drive..and i want to make it like at least 30 maybe 40(whatever is onsale)....im not scared off upgrading it...cause i just switched my ram from 64mb to 128...(so 2 64mb chips...) but im getting 2 (128mb chips) so then its 256mb.

..ok..so it says u cant have more then a 8gig portion...well how the **** do i portion my 30gig hard drive to a 8gig etc...where and how do i do this.. im so confused...please explain this to me!

.and is panther or jag run better? i have cds for panther and jag..so i was wondering what is better....

also....the max ram is 256mb am i correct? or is it 512mb..or a 128+256?

well can i put the monitor out onto a projector?

Re: not being scared. Upgrading a HD requires a bit more sweat than upgrading RAM.

Generally it's pretty straight forward, but I've never done it on an iMac 233, those G3 multicolor ones right?

It's not portion. It's "partition." As far as I know, the partition limit is for certain formats. Can't remember which...FAT32 or NTFS. Whatever, the Mac OS X uses HFS+ Journaled or something I think.

Panther is better.
