Hello,

I finally gave in and bootcamped my iMac with Windows XP SP3. I installed the bootcamp drivers that came with Snow Leopard and also updated the ATI 2600 HD driver manually, using the newest driver from ATI.

Now, all is working well and I'm able to play Modern Warfare 2 at a low resolution - but noticed it was a bit jittery during busy scenes. I wondered about the following....

1. Are the drivers on the Snow Leopard disk newer than the latest updates available on the apple website?

2. Is anyone else running a game like this under Bootcamp (XP)? If so, do you have any tips for squeezing a little more juice out of it?

Cheers,
JT

Hi !!

Yes, you should have use the Snow Leo driver...
I have the same setup as you and have try both drivers...
MW 2 is choppy with the "updated" driver...

Now for COD MW 2:

you can set the 1920 X 1200 resolution and let
everything as is from the Modern Warfare 2 instalation,
except for one thing, turn off the antialiasing filter in the
graphic options... will run smouth and big !!
