Help. I was on the phone with Apple Technical support about a login issue and he had me hold the power button down and unplug the imac while holding power button down. Then he had me plug it back in while still holding the power button down and then press and release power butter. A fan came on that sounds like a small hairdryer running immediately. I told him and he said yeah it should go off in a few minutes. It never did go off. Please help if you know how to redo what he had me reset.
