Hello,

I was recently given a problematic iMac 24" (Early '08 Model). I'm attempting to figure out what's wrong in the hopes of having an extra computer around the house. Upon opening the computer up I see 4 LEDs on the logic board, 3 of which (1,2,&3) turn on when the power button is pressed. The computer did not have RAM or a HD when I got it so I threw in 2gb of RAM and an extra 1TB hard drive I had laying around. When you press the power button the three LED's come on and the disc drive makes a sound. After that nothing else happens. I've examined every board in the computer for burst capacitors, etc. Everything looks fine. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?

Thanks for any help,
Dylan
