I would like to sincerely thank everyone on this forum for the time and effort they put into it.
The postings here were a tremendous help to me in deciding to make the switch from being a lifelong windows only user. I switched about six weeks ago. I purchased an early 2008 24" iMac 2.8Ghz iMac. It is awesome. The display is absolutely incredible and I really don't notice any reflections in normal day to day use.
There is certainly a learning curve to any new system and I think I've really only scratched the surface on the capabilities of this OS.
The one scary thing is that everyone I've gone to in the past for advise when I had problems with windows are clueless when it comes to OSX.
I'm thankful this forum exists.
Thanks again.

Yeah if it wasn't for all the posters posting how Macs are a big difference and better then I wouldn't even consider saving 1 dollar towards a Mac. So I aint buying anything, the money is going aside for the iMac
