Hi

I have a 24" iMac early 2008 model. It went really slow when in use so i restarted it and after the load bar it just goes to a white screen. It boots in to safe mode but it still a bit jumpy. Also the cursor has a block of funny lines around it. image attached.

I have run the apple Diagnostics and ASD Dual Boot 3S123 which both show no errors. I expected the graphics card to come back with errors but it didn't.

I did a fresh install of Yosemite (formatted disk and installed Yosemite) but when i rebooted during the setup i had to hold Shift to run the next bit in safemode.

I still suspect the Graphics card but i don't want to commit £250 on a new eBay one without confirming it first.

Also done the PRAM and SMC reset, still no joy.

Has anyone got any other ideas?
