How come apple refurb store sells an iMac 24-inch 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo but http://www.apple.com/imac/specs/ lists only 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo as the starting spec for a 24-inch model?

Is this an old model?

Umm, yes, you might find some older models in the refurbished store.

i bought one around May sort of time.It seems as soon as apple refreshes its line up i think all other models dissapear from the apple website as if they never existed?
