Imac 24 > MBP 13 How to transfer data?

Hi,

I'm trading my 2009 13" MBP for a 2009 24" Imac.
Whats the fastest and easiest way to transfer all the data from the imac onto the MBP?

The MBP will have a clean install of snow leopard & some other applications installed such as parallels and office..

You will be prompted to transfer data from an existing system when you first turn on the new computer. That is by far the easiest way to do so. If you will be letting go of your MacBook Pro before getting the iMac, you can also restore a system from a Time Machine backup.
