I fired up 3 in-wall space heaters at my place, ran outside to the meter to see how fast the disc was spinning...

Then I turned the heaters off, left my imac plugged in, and the disc is still spinning the same speed as it was with the 3 heaters running..

Just curious.. do these new 24' iMac's draw a lot of juice?

Maximum continuous power: 200W (20-inch models); 280W (24-inch model)

So no, they don't use much power. Look at how much a 70W lightbulb uses. Then think of all the lights in your house :)

My space heater sitting next to me uses 1250 or 1500W depending on the setting. Space heaters use a lot of juice.
