I'm planning on buying a 24 incher in the summer time, and I wanted to know that, in case my display breaks or something happens to it in a few years after my warranty is over, is there a possibility I can still repair it by bringing it to a repair shop, are they reliable, or should I just end up getting a new one then (I really don't, since this computer I'm getting will be enough in terms of performance for me for at least a couple of years).

Thanks

After market displays tend to be quite expensive. The chances of it breaking or failing are very slim though. If it fails in 5 years or so it would probably be more economical to buy a new machine.

Displays rarely fail however - it's hard drives which are the most likely component to break in any computer.
