My screens (the iMac and an external HP) have both developed two very subtly noticeable issues.
Note that there's a thunderstorm outside, and I'm running a dryer. Could those be a causal factor? Should I be investing in a power conditioner? (The thunderstorm has passed and the dryers now off. And both issues seem to have been resolved.
Would a power conditioner -- one of those s-wave gadgets -- isolate my unit from those types of issues. Or does this sound more like a failing graphics card.

2 As I move the mouse across various objects and window, the brightness shifts.
