I tried to put my iMac to sleep to see what would happen to all my peripherals.
After going to sleep all my temperatures came down almost to turned off state.
When i woke it next morning all my external HDD, all three of them reported a bad disconection and the usb 3.0 hub that i used with them, and ANKER 4 port hub, also would not function, this hub model is not power assisted.

Is this the normal thing to happen:
All my peripherals after the computer wakes up remains disconnected?
Any potential solutions?
Or should I just leave the machine always on and just (sleep) turn off the monitor?

Thanks for the input. Happy New Year to ALL.
