Hi Gurus!

Just want to make sure that my plan will work before I buy all the things and start doing it.

I'd like to upgrade that small ridiculous factory SSD in my mne92 mid 2017 iMac 27 to the Samsung 960 PRO m.2 NVMe using the adaptor frame. I clearly understand all the blade ssd differences (ssuax/ssubx/sspolaris) and I can say I'm almost sure that the new Samsung Polaris NVMe controllers are used both on the native Apple blade SSDs (after 2015) as well as in the standard Samsung 960 PROs/EVOs - so, the replacement controller should work FINE!
But, the difference is in the connector and size (the main question for me...).
So, I'm going to have this kind of Adaptor:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/M-key-M-2-...763795?hash=item1c9a892653:g:CnEAAOSwGPxaJjn6

Since I have not found any examples or videos on Youtube, the question is:
Will my replacement Samsung 960 PRO inserted into the Adaptor, fit the iMac's main logic board place for the SSD (the hole for the screwdriver will coinside or not? (Dimensions with the Adaptor?)

Can I do it or not?
