Hi iMac 5K users,

did anyone of You calibrate their monitor with Colormunki PHOTO (not display) and their 1.2.1 software?

Tried various runs but the calibration seems completely wrong, resulting in a much too dark and harsh profile.
Under 1.1.1 however the result seems better, but the patterns during the calibration procedure seem much fewer, so I guess a less precise result.

Colormunki support is the worst ever.
Not reachable, answer with text patterns, and don´t follow up.

thank You for Your opinions.

Experiment using your Colormunki Photo hardware with dispcalGUI and Argyll CMS. It's a free and open source package that offers greatly improved calibration quality compared to the OEM software. Select 6500K as your target white point and gamma 2.2. Use native brightness and adjust it to your liking using the keyboard controls, prior to calibration.

If you have any questions, share your resulting profile here and I'll be happy to take a look for any problems.
