I just bought an ASUS 20" LCD (VW202xR) to act as a second ouput from my RevA White iMac.

apologies for crap quality - it was taken with my iPhone...

This is what's happening. I've tried different computers, different DVI cables, and DVI-MiniDVI adaptors - everything seems to point to the fact that it's the mini DVI output on the mac.

All the dark areas are appearing as red and it bleeds across the screen from time to time - kind of like snow on analog TV.

Is this a known issue, and is there a fix or am I going to have to fork out for a new logic board?

So I was just playing around with it, and it seems to only appear at resolutions above 1600 x ???. I am running in 1300x968 and there is no artifcating. Just plain weird...
