iMac 4-6 weeks shipping

Hi guys,
I am planning on purchasing a 27" iMac with i7, 1 TB HD, and 256 GB SSD. Is there any reason that it will take 4-6 weeks???

Because they have to build it.

You arent the only person ordering that setup.

You could walk into a store and most likely get an i7 with 1TB. Just no SSD.

It's the SSD that's taking so long.

Note that we don't yet know how long it will actually take for these machines to ship--everyone is being given an estimated ship date that's 6 weeks out, but we'll have to wait to see if it actually takes that long.
