When i turn on my iMac 5k 2014 4GHz 8GB Ram it takes unusual long until the Apple Logo appears and the system starts to load. Afterwards the system bar boots normally and system runs normally. I did a clean install on the SSD but the is no difference to the Fusion Drive. Hardware Test,DriveDx, Firmware check indicate no problems.

I saw some MacBook user having problems with Big Sur upgrades destroying their IO boards. I can not completely exclude the HDD having bad sectors for this i would need to open the iMac.

Anybody experiencing the same problem?

Another problem is the kernel panic after the iMac comes back from sleep mode. 1 minute the system runs normally but than the fans turn on( still no suspicious activity visible in the activity monitor) followed by a black screen and sometimes a error report after rebooting.

panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff80041d4e77): "AppleAHCIDiskQueueManager::setPowerState(0xffffff934ae0e000 : 0xffffff800605f620, 2 -> 3) timed out after 101130 ms"@/System/Volumes/Data/SWE/macOS/BuildRoots/e90674e518/Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/xnu/xnu-7195.121.3/iokit/Kernel/IOServicePM.cpp:5382

Is there a possibility, this is due faulty big Sur upgrade? Or is the a general Big Sur problem?

In another threads someone downgrade the macOS on a MacBook but still having this Black screen problem.
