Hey guys,

I'm using a maxed out retina iMac with the current Adobe CC suite. Unfortunately Adobe Acrobat is almost unusable when viewing PDFs that have more than text. Rendering of a page take 2-3 seconds and when zooming in it gets unbearable slow. I almost can't navigate the page and everything lags, mouse input has a 2-4 seconds delay.

Is anyone else experiencing this? In Preview everything is okay.

Similiar problems happen in Lightroom and InDesign..

When my riMac arrives (roughly a week) I'm moving onto CC, but I rarely use Acrobat in the first place. I just open all PDFs in Preview.

I banish Acrobat from all my Macs. What problems are you having with Lightroom? It has some problems in the Develop module, but in general I find that it works well.

Annotations are unfortunately unusable in preview. same goes for previewing files before print. So I'm stuck with Acrobat I guess.

In Lightroom I'm getting heavy lag in the library while browsing
