iMac 5k as monitor

Hi there,

I know there was a restriction before on using the 5k iMac as a monitor but I wonder now that we have Thunderbolt 3 which can send the equivalent bandwidth of 2 Thunderbolt 2 streams, is it possible? The iMac 27 inch does have 2 x Thunderbolt 2 ports..

Any ideas?
