imac 5k CPU temperature

Hi There,

I recently bought iMac 5K i7, 512GB 295x. i see iMac is odd compared to my old macbook pro while processing video conversion or using Photos app/Playing videos.

I see CPU is getting hotter above 90C and Fan Kicks in. If i don't use photos app, then its CPU temperature is not above 90.

No Heat issues with GPU sofar. Any one observed CPU heat issues on this iMac 5k?

It's normal. Video conversion, rendering and editing are heavily CPU intensive (and also GPU intensive in really complex editing).

If the temperature didn't rise, it means that the CPU isn't doing work. In fact, if the fans didn't activate, I'd be worried.
