iMac 5k Skylake - will it come with USB-C and Thunderbolt 3?

I am getting ready to get a 5k iMac and excited about the potential skylake update. I have a quad core 2012 Mac Mini to hold me over so I can wait. How many think the next iMac 5k will come with USB-C? And Thunderbolt 3?

USB C will have Thunderbolt 3 inbuilt they will all be the same port and cable.

Think within the next two years they'll release a new revision of the ATD with a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) as the sole connector coming from the monitor? More than enough power being provided to charge the laptop and then plenty of bandwidth for a 4k/5k screen and extra peripherals. That'd be one slick setup wouldn't it?

Sorry, I know it's slightly off topic, but I was a little bit excited after rereading the article about future iterations of USB-C.

yes i realise this, hence i stated that i wish the usb-c included displayport 1.3 not 1.2 [as mentioned in your own link].

Not every usb-c port will include thunderbolt 3.

For example the new macbook has usb-c but not thunderbolt. They're only using the same port.
