iMac A1200 MXM Graphics card ?

I have a iMac 24 inch model A1200 with a bad graphicscard, this mac has a MXM videocard slot and i was thinking if there is a possibility to use those cards called Go 7600gt ? those are also used in some laptops also, i mean would it work as long as its a MXM type 2 card ? does not have to be nVidia ?
