iMac address book

I just started learning how to use my new iMac. I have a question on the address book Apple downloaded my info from the old PC. When I go to gmail they are all there but if I go to apple mail on the dock, they are not all there. Is there I way I can merge them? Thanks from a newbie.

Are there any entries actually in Address Book? Gmail may be getting it's information from somewhere else.

Addresses

Yes, there are addresses in both. But one file is much larger. IS there away to merge them>

You could possibly export the detals form one Address Book as a vCard and then import it into the other. Not tried it so don't know if it would work. Not quite sure why you've got two Address Books though.
