Driving back into London last night from the East, I must have passed 30 large lit-up billboards advertising the new iMac.

In my weekend paper's glossy magazine (Guardian) there was a stitched in eight page advert for the iMac, including the Myths page (but not the new "everything is easier..." slogan.

As usual if you've no idea the iMac is a computer (as a lot of people probably still don't over here) it would intrigue and possibly confuse, but it's the most concerted Apple marketing blitz I've seen in this city ever.

Has anyone got similar reports from across Europe? Of course, it's still very difficult for anyone in the general high street to come across the machines in the flesh...

And does anyone know more about this campaign, how much spend, how long in duration...?

I got that in my Guardian too. quite kool.

But the **** about OSX being uncrashable is just plain false.
Marketing hype really, but it has some nice pictures.
