Hi there!
My iMac Alu 2.4 GHz has probably an issue with the temperature sensor of CPU A. When I switch it on, it first is OK, iStat shows a temperature of CPU A of around 40°C. Then after a while the fan start spinning at full 3500 rpm. When I look at iStat again it shows the following (see attachment).

When I do a restart, it doesn't show the entry for temperature CPU A at all.

I already looked around in the forums, but couldn't find anything that fits my problem. I tried SMC reset, but didn't work for long. Any suggestion how to fix that?

Any help is appreciated, since I do not have warranty anymore.
Thanks in advance!
