Hi all,

Today, after applying the new security update, my USB mouse and keyboard stopped working. Apparently no power is coming out of the USB port (Keyboard's Caps lock light doesn't light up when caps lock is pressed) and I have to control it through screen sharing from my laptop. Apple hardware test (press D when starting up) shows no hardware problems. Any suggestions?

Have you tried another keyboard and mouse? Does it provide power to other peripherals such as an iPod?

No, it doesn't.

Also, System Profiler shows "no information found" under USB.
