Hi all,
I wanted to ask if it was possible to have a MBAir remote control an iMac either on the same internal network or from the internet?

The iMac will be the workhorse of the two, but would be useful if the MBA could allow me to spend some "family time", whilst still being at least slightly productive.

Failing that it it easy to share files, including mailboxes across two Macs?

Thanks in advance.
T.

You can set up all kinds of sharing, including controlling the IMac screen from the MBA. I think that's what your asking.

I suppose it is the equivalent of remote desktop that i am looking for.
At least that is what it is called in the wonderful world that was windows.

Hoping that way i will get the power of the iMac coupled with the portability of the MBA.

Also do you know if i can use this remote desktop functionality via the internet as well as via my own home based network.?
