I have a 2011 imac and a 2008 unibody macbook pro. I am a graphic designer. When i use photoshop on my iMac the colors come out much brighter and doesn't match on other machine. I opened the psd on my unibody and the colors are way off. How do i get the correct colors on both machines?

Thanks

As both machines use different panels, and different colour profiles, you need to colour correct both displays, either via eye in System Preferences > Displays > Color > Calibrate or via an external device.

A colorimeter is best for ensuring your monitors are calibrated correctly. The Spyderelite series by colorvision are pretty good. Not the cheapest things though, unfortunately.

Edit: spyder pro series are slight cheaper
