Hi all,

I have an Epson 7900 I use for giclee printing. Last night while printing, the print monitor crashed and the file I had queued to the 7900 did not print. I rebooted both mac and printer and sent the file again... the file shows in the 7900 monitor window with a status of "sending data to printer". Then disappears. and the status goes back to "printer ready". Nothing ever prints.

The printer WILL however, print the nozzle check grid with no problem and tells me how much paper and ink I have, so there is some level of communication happening. I can also print the same file to my Epson 1400 with no problem. This is obviously not a hardware issue. Tried printing from several different applications and all have the same result... they seem to "chew" on the file but never print it. I spent an hour on the phone with Epson and they updated my driver and told me to use a shorter USB connection. Still having the same results.

Now I'm thinking this may be an Apple issue instead of an Epson one, so I reinstalled my OSX (Lion) and still have the same problem.

Any thoughts?
