Hey all,

I have a 20" iMac (alum) i usually put the iMac to sleep when i go to bed. Lately we've been losing power during the day, while I'm at work.

The weird thing is when the UPS (Cyberpower) kicks in the iMac wakes up!

Is there any way to make it stay sleeping, so the UPS battery lasts longer?

Thank you!

Not really, it is designed to come on when the power jumps. You could just change the settings so it goes to sleep after only a few minutes, or use a UPS that can communicate to your iMac, either via Ethernet or USB.
