Hi
As you know the fusion drive presents problems for gamers who want to use bootcamp and windows.
Would this work (have anyone tested this)?:
1: Descrease the size of your original OSX fusion drive partition to 2tb.
2: Make a new Install Windows 7 on a seperat partition (both partitions less than 2tb size in total) on your 3tb fusion drive.
PS: If this doesn't work, first format your fusion drive to GPT format.
3: Clone that partition with SuperDuper! to an external thunderbolt SSD.
4: Now reinstall OSX if necessary on your internal fusion drive, and plug in the external SSD if you want to use Windows 7 and play games.
Shouldn't this work, or am I missing something?
Thanks!
