Posted this in the iMac forum as well.

Just wondering if anyone can help out.

I have a new 24" iMac (well, bought in Oct 07, so it's the new style iMac) and I just got an iPhone. I installed the Remote app, which allows me to control my iTunes on my iMac.

I would now like to set up wireless speakers in my backyard that would play music from my iMac (in my basement). I already have a wireless network in the house (with a Linksys router). How would I go about doing this? What would I need to buy (aside from wireless speakers) to accomplish this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1) Airport Express
2) An amplifier of some sort. Example.
3) A minijack to phono cable to connect the two together.
4) A pair of weatherproof speakers. Bowers & Wilkins make some fantastic speakers and do offer a pair of weatherproof speakers. If you aren't willing to spend quite that much, then dare I say it, a pair of Bose speakers might do the trick. They offer acceptable sound and are relatively reliable.
