iMac AppleCare... what iMac models does it work with?

I bought AppleCare with my 27" 09 i7 iMac. I'm selling it now (it's not been used) and I'm wondering what iMac models it works with? I'm hoping all of them. Thanks.

Can you clarify. Do you mean the 09 Mac has never been used? Or the Applecare? And what is it you are selling, unused AppleCare, or 09 Mac?

And do you mean you never registered the Applecare? Or that you did, but never made a call against it, and are now looking to transfer the remaining part ?one year? to a new iMac? Or something else?

If you never registered the AppleCare, it can be used to register AppleCare on any iMac. If you registered it, you'll be able to receive a pro-rated refund based on the original purchase date of the computer (not the AppleCare box).
