Hi everyone,

My iMac has been getting an error recently whereby it is as though the > arrow key  on the bottom right of the key board is locked down - so it suddenly begins to continually skip through everything that it is on until I hit the keyboard or frantically click about on something else. I thought it was the wireless keyboard but I have taken the keyboard quite far away from the computer and it still continues to frantically skip. It is getting worse and unfortunately I forgot to get extended warranty on the damn thing. I have been considering reinstalling Lion onto it?

Currently its v10.7.3 its a 2.5ghz intel core i.5.

Thoughts anyone?

Thank you so much!
Kate

It'll either be a dead keyboard, or the batteries in the keyboard going dead (really flat batteries can cause random issues like that).
