@TheRoyalDoctor
I just built a custom machine and I'm hopping to use my iMac as an external monitor, So what dongle should I use to connect my PC to my iMac.

How old is your iMac? If it is a 2010 model, then you will just need an HDMI/DVI to Mini DisplayPort adapter.
If you have a 2011 model iMac, you can't use it as an external display. The new iMacs can only accept a signal from another Thunderbolt equipped device.

That kind of sucks.

I bought a new 27" and would like to use a PS3 or such like. No change of an HDMI to thunderbolt converter?

TIA
Jay
