So I've been using my iMac to watch a lot of EyeTV recently and I've found most channels (especially HD channels) are just too quiet even though I'm only sitting a few feet away, so I guess I need some speakers.

I want somethings small-- absolutely no subwoofer. I have some JBL Creature II's that I don't like because I don't like the giant subwoofer.

Are there any nice, small 2-piece sets out there-- I love the Apple Pro Harmon Kardon Cube speakers, but don't want to put forth the money/space for a converter.

The main thing is small, but they would naturally need to one up the iMac G5 on volume.

Thanks!
