Can someone please remind me what the built-in screen mac that was before the imac was called? I saw it somewhere but can't remember it's name. It was basicly the exact same design except in the dull grayish brown color most computers looked like. It came out a couple years before the imac g3 and I can't remember the name.

I have one of these in my collection

LC575 which was based on the LC520 chassis.

I'd have to go with the "Power Macintosh G3 All-In-One". Not available in all countries or markets (ie in countries that did have it, it was education only).

Or, the one we were selling like hot-cakes when the iMac was announced. The Power Macintosh 5500. That would be the last All-In-One model. Quite a nice machine with the addition of hardware accelerated graphics and 168Pin 64Bit DIMMS. The 5200 didn't have either of these features (Memory was only 32Bit), and the 5400 only had the 168Pin 64 Bit DIMMS.

Would second the G3 all in one. Cool machine with the vent holes on the curved plastic top.. Before that, 5200/5300 PowerPC line with the 603e chips which replaced the 550/575 units.
