imac - Birghtness problem (some flickering)

Hi!!

First of all, i am new to this forum, and my english is not perfect.
I have a question. I just bought my self the new imac (20") and it is perfect. But I think that there is a little problem. The brightness is playing weird i think. I am working normally on my imac and then the brightness begins to flash for some sec. Sometimes it stops quickly, and then again this continues for a little longer. It looks like, the brightness if getting brighter and then lower. Is this something to worry???

Go into preferences then display settings and uncheck the little button on the bottom that says something like adjust screen brightness automatically. That might take care of it, otherwise you may have a bigger problem


Edit* I dont know if this is only for notebooks as i dont have an iMac anymore and i'm on a PC at work right now but its worth a shot unless someone corrects me.

Change the title of your thread to imac brightness flickering or something like that. You will get more responses.

sadly there is no little box to uncheck the adjust brightness...

any other ideas???
