Hi,

I have a 20inch Alu iMac running Snow Leopard which has suddenly stopped connecting to my mail accounts (personal domain and gmail) through Mail, also won't allow Transmission (torrent software) to connect and is also blocking Connect 360 from connecting to my imac from my Xbox.

My internet connection is fine but these "other connections" are suddenly no good. I have no firewall turned on although I have tried turning it on and allowing these programs to access - still it won't work.

Everything was working fine earlier but it suddenly just stopped working. I have restarted the mac and the router. I should mention that this happened a few months back and the only way I found to fix it was to do a time machine restore to the night before. I really dont wanna have to do that again!

Any help would be really appreciated. I've tried google searching etc but all the answers suggest turning off a firewall. I don't have mine on!

Thanks in advance

Dan
