So I've researched this to no end, I have a new 2011 27" iMac and apparently there's an issue with installing Windows7 on Bootcamp with the display drivers.
I've researched the topic and found this post, which addresses the issue with older iMac models using ATI GFX. Basically I need to delete the 2011 equivalent of what the linked guide says to delete.
I'm guessing it's one of the following files in the Drivers folder. Don't wanna jump the gun and delete the wrong one!
amdide.sys
amdk8.sys
amdppm.sys
amdsata.sys
amdsbs.sys
amdxata.sys
