Hey guys, so for the last couple of months I've had this issue that whenever I shut down my iMac, it automatically turns on anywhere between 10-25 minutes later. It's not always a set time, so I know it's not the energy saver setting, but has anyone else encountered something like this?

Alan

Haven't been able to fix this issue. Is there any way I can check a log of what caused it to boot?

Go to disk utilities and run a permissions repair.
Don't bother with verifying it just repair the permissions.

If it still has issues contact AppleCare. They should have an answer.

I haven't renewed my AppleCare yet so I'm gonna have to schlep the iMac over there. Since this is the kind of thing that sometimes happens a minute after I shut it down, sometimes an hour, how am I going to show apple?

Try and video record it.
