iMac broken easily.

When did your iMac broke down and what happened.

3.5 years and my logic card broke down.

Sad that they do not build more quality on the things that are so expensive. My TV is 11 years old and work perfectly. I understand that they want to earn money to buy new. :apple:

My cousin has my old (Late 2006) iMac, it's still running strong, plus Apple has a #1 rating in customer satisfaction, so I'm not sure how well your conspiracy theory holds water.

Ok

Ok wait and more will answer you should hear several problems with the iMac it's a well known about the problems and the heat and fan problems.

I have a 2002 iMac, replaced the HDD because I wanted to, the original 80GB was still working though. Garage computer for playing iTunes and I don't want to get rid of it so I found a use for it.:)

Also have a 2007 24" C2D, no breakdowns and being used 5 days /week at our office.

2009 27" i5, replaced the 1TB HDD with SSD in '09. Wife uses it almost daily@home.

2010 27" i3, stock as a rock, wife uses is 5 days/week at office.

2011 27" i5, replaced 1TB HDD with RAID0 SSD's, I use it almost daily@home.

Never returned or replaced any of these and they were purchased new

2008 24" iMac..no issues.
2005 iBook G4..no issues..
(4 other macs)..no issues..

Statistically every model will have x number of failures over y period of time; doesn't mean they break easily.

Oddly enough, my late 06 iMac is also still working well. Must have been a good year.
