For most of today my iMac cannot load anything on the internet. It shows that i am connected to the airport express, but shows internet is disconnected (yellow). But whats odd is that my iPad (wifi only model) is also connected yo the same airport... and it gets internet fine (im posting this message now on it). Ive tried googling this, and tried all the suggestions i saw (renew lease, reboot comouter multiple times, reboot modem and router multiple times, etc). Nothing works. Its quite frustrating. anyone else encounter this, and know of a solution?

Can the iMac connect to the net by "another way"?

Can you plug it into an ethernet connection and get on the net that way?
(May require moving it closer to the modem/router)

Here's one other (easy) thing to try:
- Go to your internet provider's modem (or combined modem/router).
- POWER IT DOWN (pull the plug if necessary)
- Wait 15-30 seconds, then power it back up
- Give everything a few minutes to stabilize, and then try the iMac again...

I have tried directly plugging it into the ethernet port... and in settings it says i am connected to ethernet... but still no internet. And yes, i have tried powerimg everyting down multiple times, hasnt helped.
